I am a British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT)–accredited Hand Therapist with over 20 years’ experience delivering specialist hand therapy services across acute trusts, primary care, and private healthcare settings. I have extensive experience treating adults and children with a wide range of hand and wrist trauma and acquired conditions.
Currently working in an Advanced Clinical Practice role at Salisbury District Hospital, I am responsible for comprehensive assessment, complex clinical decision-making, and the delivery of advanced non-operative management for a variety of hand and wrist injuries and conditions.
I am an active member of the BAHT Advanced Practice Network (APN) and am part of the BAHT Flexor Tendon Rehabilitation Standards Group, as well as involved in the development of BAHT competencies supporting hand therapy practice nationwide.
In addition to my clinical role, I have been involved in organising the Southampton Hand Course since 2017, and regularly present on the programme. I have also delivered a recorded Q&A session on “Current Concepts in Tendon Rehabilitation” for the Level 7 module at the University of Essex, contributing to postgraduate education and professional development.
